begins at 12pm. Entry fee will be $ 20 for 6

2-Headed Giant: Registration begins at 4pm.
Event begins at 5pm (or whenever the sealed
event has concluded, whichever is later). Entry
fee is $ 30 per team for 8 boosters of Magic TG
2010 per team (basic land is supplied by
Trilogy).

yugioh regionals wrap-up
Trilogy would like to thank all the Yugioh
players that attended last week's pre-release.
Over 100 players showed up, surpassing our
expectations by a wide margin! Congratulations
to brothers Samson and Andi H. for respectively
finishing 1st and 2nd and making all Calgary
players proud.
Thanks to Peter, Jason and Nick for their
assistance with judging, and a special "thank
you" to Sebastian for helping out with
everything and
making all the players feel right at home, even
during such a high intensity event! |

yugioh regionals update
Yugioh Regionals are being held at Trilogy this
Saturday, June 20th, starting at 11am.
Registration begins at 10am. Please note that
this tournament is limited to 60 players, so
please register early on the day of the
tournament. The entry fee is $ 25 per player,
with each player receiving 5 boosters of Raging
Battle with their paid entry. The format is
advanced constructed and the number of rounds
played will depend on the final attendance (we
anticipate 6 rounds of swiss draw based on the
expected attendance). All decks must follow
current Konami advanced construction rules
(available at
http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/limited/#limited_adv
) and be sleeved in plain color sleeves.
Players should bring a tournament-legal Deck as
described above, along with any tournament
supplies they will need, such as paper and pen
to track Life Points, dice or counters if they
are playing cards which require them, extra
sleeves to replace any that become damaged, and
so forth. Players should bring their COSSY
number if they already have one, as well as a
form of ID in case one is required. |

Trilogy will be hosting Magic Friday Night Magic
events every first and 3rd Friday of each month,
to accomodate the players that are looking to
play more standard, sealed and/or draft events.
Be sure to drag a friend or two along and show
up for a friendly and casual FNM. |

Combos have been voted OUT of our Thursday Night
event so ensure you are not playing decks that

magic alara reborn pre-release information
Trilogy will be hosting the pre-release for the
new Magic TG set Alara Reborn on Saturday April
25th. Registration Starts at 11am, and the
Sealed Event starts at 12pm, followed by a
two-headed giant tournament starting at 5pm.
Please note that the 2-Headed Giant event will
not start until the Sealed event is completed.
Sealed Deck will cost $ 20 for 3 Alara reborn
and 3 Shards of Alara Boosters.
Two-Headed Giant will cost $ 30 per team for 8
boosters (at least 3 Alara Reborn boosters and a
combination of Shards of Alara and Conflux
Boosters depending on what assortment is left.
All teams will receive the same assortment). |

yugioh sneak a peek at trilogy - only location
in alberta!
Trilogy will be hosting the next Yugioh
Sneak-a-Peek event, launching the release of the
long awaited Crimson Crisis booster set. The
event will be at 11am on Saturday, February
28th. Registration begins at 10am, and seats ARE
limited! Each player will receive 5 packs of
Crimson Crisis with which to build their decks
and one additional pack for playing, as well as
the Colossal Fighter/Assault Mode
promotional card.
The event will cost $ 25 per player (due to
strict restrictions by Konami, this price will
apply to all participants, even Trilogy
Gold/Platinum members). |

fnm is back at trilogy!
After a long hiatus, Friday Night Magic is back
at Trilogy. FNM will be a monthly event and
serve as our Draft event every month. The first
one is January 16th, starting at 6pm, with the
cost of the event being 5 boosters of any type 2
sets($ 20). |

new trilogy store now open!
The new Trilogy store has finally opened its
doors to the public on November 15th. Although a
few details are still under construction and/or
development, we can confidently say Trilogy
Phase 3 is by far the nicest store in town, and
we hope you will visit us soon and agree. In the
days to come, we will announce a revised
tournament schedule, demo schedule and other
upcoming events. |

the final weeks of preparation. A tentative date
for opening is set for the middle of November,

event which will make Trilogy the best store in

Trilogy is now open Mondays as well, from 11am
to 5pm, so feel free to pop by and relieve those
Monday Blues with some gaming or collectibles.
Please note that due to our new and expanded
hours, trading may not be possible at certain
times, so please call ahead if you are coming in
to trade or sell to avoid disappointment. |

WELCOME MIKE!
Trilogy is proud to welcome Mike McLaren to the
"family". Mike has been dedicated to the gaming
industry for over 10 years and will be the
Manager of the newly created Trilogy Gaming
Distribution. He will also assist in the every
day operations of the store, particularly on
Sundays and Mondays (that's right, watch for
Trilogy opening 7 days a week soon). |

TRILOGY'S 5TH ANNIVERSARY IS COMING UP !
It has indeed been 5 years since Trilogy opened
its doors, a milestone that we will celebrate
with our customers on the weekend of 23rd and
24th of August. We will hold our annual
anniversary sale, with all singles in the store
reduced by 50% OFF for the entire weekend! Also,
on Saturday the 23rd we will hold our Gold and
Platinum members' auction: this event is when

Trilogy is expanding!
Although it has been rumored for a while now,
and most of our regular clients are aware of it,
we wanted to inform the "masses" that Trilogy
Gaming Club will be expanding into our new
location a couple of doors down from our present
one in the near future.
Construction has begun and we expect to be
opening in the next couple of months. Our new
location will be more than twice as big as the
current one, and will feature an even greater
selection of products and services, as well as
new fixtures, tables, chairs and more space to
"roam around". Stay tuned for more news as well
as pictures of the new locale.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank
all our customers through what have been 5 very
successful years and hope to see you all at the
new location when it opens. |

POKEMON CITY CHAMPIONSHIPS ARE A WEEK AWAY!
Trilogy is proudly
hosting the Calgary City Championships on
Sunday, January 6th, 2008. Details are below:
Registration starts at 10am
Tournament Starts at 11am
Category: Modified-Constructed
Additional Information: Deck Lists are required. Visit the
Pokemon website to download the deck list. Bring damage
counters. Dice may not be used as damage counters. Prizes
will be awarded in all three age categories for 1st - 4th
place: 10 and under, 11 - 14, and 15 and up. This event
will take between 3 - 6 hours depending on the number of
players. Card sleeves must be unmarked. No damaged
cards. |

Sundays starting at 2:30pm, Trilogy is proud to be
one of very few stores in Canada hosting the Pokemon
Organized Play League. Participants of all ages compete
for Organized Play Packs (season 5) in a very casual
environment. Please note that kids 10 and under must have
an adult accompanying them. |
